Analisis Pola Jaringan Sosial menggunakan Sociogram pada Mahasiswa Departemen Statistika IPB Tahun Masuk 2010

Abstract

College world is often associated with independent learning system. Students can choose their friends, who can be trusted to help resolve the problems, as their partner discussion. The social network can be seen from the interaction which students made when choosing their partner. Course managers and lecturers can take policy in improving student’s performance by examining the patterns of the student’s social network. The patterns and structure of the social network can be described by a graph called sociogram. The data was obtained from the questionnaires which was conducted on a group of students. The group was taken from the Department of Statistics students, 2010 academic year. Data was processed using NetDraw software. Based on the result obtained, sociogram discovered some interesting things. One of them is that the most partner discussion was the problem of lecture.
