Aplikasi Mobile GIS Pencarian Tempat Olahraga di Bogor.

Abstract

The location of sport facilities that are difficult to find has made location search system such as location based services (LBS) more important. Global positioning system (GPS) feature on the smartphone makes it possible to use smartphone as a navigation tool. The purpose of this research is to develop a LBS application that is used as mobile GIS search location in Bogor. The application is developed by using the Android-based smartphones, GPS to obtain the position of users, and Google Maps as map viewer. This research was carried out by using the prototype method that consists of several stages, namely: problem identification, prototype development, operational system coding by using App Inventor, and testing. Evaluation was conducted until the system is acceptable and can perform the desired functionality. The result of this research is an application system that can show the locations of sport facilities in Bogor.
