dc.description.abstractTempe is a processed food from soybeans. It is needed by the Indonesian people, especially in the Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the income from tempe industry which applying partnership and independent system in Cimanggu I Village, Cibungbulang District of Bogor Regency. The results showed that the tempe production which using partnership system was affected by soy, yeast, and water, whereas the production which using independent system was influenced by soy alone. The entrepreneurs which applying independent system gained more income than the partnerships system because they used production techniques recommended by Bogor Regency’s Indonesia Tofu and Soybean Cake Entrepreneurs Union (KOPTI). The partnership system entrepreneurs, on the contrary, was applying the traditional method rather than the recommended one by KOPTI Bogor Regency.en
