During intensive exercise, athlete must able to make right strategy of fluid consumption to replace body water loss to prevent dehydration. Dehydration can compromise physiologic function, increase the risk of exertional injury, blocked the rate of energy production, and negatively influence performance. The main purpose of this study is to analysis of determinant of exercise dehydration status in young athlete. The research has been done at PPLP DKI in August to October 2013 by using cross sectional study design. Based on the percentage of body weight change in exercise, 56,1% of subject catagorized as well dehydrated and 43,9% of subject catagorized as dehydration (minimal dehydration) in exercise. The results of correlation analysis showed that significant relationship between gender, percentage of total body fat, sufficient level of fluid in exercise period, and sweat rate in exercise with exercise dehydration status. The results of multiple linier regression showed that the determinant of exercise dehydration status in young athlete are gender, sufficient level of fluid in exercise period, and sweat rate in exercise.en
