Pengetahuan dan Sikap Gizi Ibu dengan Praktek Konsumsi Susu Anak Sekolah TK

Abstract

Thisstudy is aimed to analyze correlation between mother’s nutritional knowledge and attitude and milk consumption of pre-school children’s (PSC). A cross sectional study design was applied among 136 PSC aged 4-5 yrs old in the two favorite kindergartens of Bogor City - Aliya and Mexindo. The mothers f the PSC filled in a questionnaire consist of sociodemographic characteristics, children’s milk consumption, and a nutritional knowledge-and-attitude. Milk consumsption of PSC was measured by applying a 30 days semi-FFQ method . The results show that most of mother had good nutritional knowledge and attitiude. More than 90% of them agree that drinking milk is a good habit for children. The mother’s nutritional attitudes showed significant positive correlation with children’s milk drinking habit (r = 0.31). No relation was found between nutritional knowledge with attitude and milk consumption
