dc.description.abstract | Cervical cancer is the most common death cause of cancer in Indonesian after human breast cancer. One of the efforts of cancer treatment is the utilization of natural materials compounds. Some plants have potential as anticancer for example leaves of Piper crocatum. Base of previous study methanol extract Piper crocatum has IC50 values 44.25 μg/mL on breast cancer cells (T47D). The purpose of this study was to determine inhibition activity of Piper crocatum ethanol, waters extract and Piper crocatum leaves powder against HeLa and Chang cells by Microculture Tetrazolium Technique (MTT) assay. The result showed that Piper crocatum leaves powder has higher inhibition with value 86% at 800 ppm which was higher than water and ethanol 30% with % inhibition 46% at 800ppm and 39% at 400 ppm. | en |
