The using of drill method in resin tapping requires relatively small tap area. Drill method has disadvantage, that is the high increasing rate of tap area. Therefore, the research that focus in wound renewal by enlarge the size of existing drill hole is needed to decrease the high increasing rate of tap area. This study use a complete random design where the consists of four treatments method; quarre method, one frequency drill method, two frequency drill method and three frequency drill method. Based on Duncan test, the result shows that the productivity of quarre method is 89.08 g/tapping area/day and it is higher than the productivity of drill method. The same productivity showed by the various frequency on drill methods. Drill method with two frequency is an optimum drill method considered by the productivity and the increasing rate of tap area, which the productivity reaches 51.39 g/tapping area/day and the increasing rate of tapping area is 18.4 cm/month.en
