The objective of this research was aimed to study the physiological condition of Friesian Holstein (FH) dairy cattle during dry period in KPBS Pangalengan. KPBS Pangalengan is located at 1 000–1 420 meters above sea level with temperature about 12-28 °C per year and humidity 60-70% per year. Environmental condition in KPBS Pangalengan will affect physiologic of dairy cattle during dry period. Physiological condition is very important to know the health condition of dairy cattle. This research used 46 dairy cattle during dry period are clinically healthy. Measurement parameter fisiological was done at morning, noon, and evening, then the result obtained calculated average. The range of heart rate, respiration frequency, and body temperature were 52.8−70.2 times/min, 18.9−36.6 times/min, and 37.6−38.6 °C. The range of hemoglobin, hematocrit, erythrocytes, and leukocytes were 9.3−11.3 g/dl, 30.4−36.6%, 6.5−8.70 million/μl, and 7.4−12.8 thousand/μl. The range of differential leukocyte covering lymphocyte, neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils, and, basophils, were 29.60 ̶ 55.60%, 28.80 ̶ 56.20%, 0.30 ̶ 4.30%, 5.50 ̶ 19.7%, and 0.00 ̶ 0.00%. The ratio of neutrophils/lymphocytes obtained ranges 0.45 ̶1.91. In general, measurements of physiologic condition of dairy cattle during dry period is at normal conditions based on the climate in the region. The value is expected can be used as reference physiological of dairy cattle during dry period in KPBS Pangalengan.en
