Abstract: The purpose of this study are knowing the management and the success rate of butterfly captivity at Cihanjuang Butterfly Park. The used methods were field observation, interview and study of literature The success rate of the captivity was measured by the percentage of an amount that is born over the amount which fails on each phase of life. The result of the study showed that management of captive was done as semi-intensive by dividing the captives base on life phase of butterfly and selectig plants was adapted by the species of the butterfly. Troides helena helena use „sirih hutan‟ (Aristolochia tagala) as host plant. The average feed consumed during worm phase of Troides helena helena was 19.04 gram. The success percentage of Troides helena helena captivity was 36.7%, it meant medium category (30-60%), whereas the success of the Cihanjuang Butterfly Garden overall by 22.93%, was low (<30%).
