Analisis Dayasaing dan Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Aliran Ekspor Pala Indonesia

Abstract

Development of export demand for Indonesia nutmeg on international market can be identified by the rate of its export volume. The objective of this study was to analyzing comparative and competitive advantage of indonesia nutmeg in six export destination countries, there are Netherland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, USA and Singapore and what the factor influences the export volume of Indonesia nutmeg. RCA method showed that comparative advantage held by indonesia nutmeg on the whole export destination countries (RCA>1). The result of Export Product Dynamic (EPD) showed that the Indonesia nutmeg has a high competitive advantage on Netherland, Italy, USA and Germany market and at the same time share of export has decreased on Belgium and Singapore market. There is twoway trade on Netherland, Singapore, Belgium and Italy. This result can be determined by analyzed using Intra-Industry Trade method (IIT). The estimation result of Gravity Model showed that real economic distance and real prices of world’s nutmeg influences export volume of indonesia nutmeg.
