This study was aimed to evaluate the performance of garut ewe and lamb based on the type of birth with the addition of sunflower seed oil. The 16 pregnant ewes and 23 born lambs were used to measure the consumption of feed, body weight gain of ewes, birth weight of lambs, weaning weight of lambs, body weight gain of lambs, and milk production of ewes. The research was designed by using factorial randomized design (2x3). The first treatments was different type of birth (single and twin) and the second was the addition of sunflower seed oil with different levels (M1=0% addition of sunflower seed oil, M2=4% addition of sunflower seed oil, and M3=6% addition of sunflower seed oil). The data were analyzed using analyses of varians (anova). The results showed that there was no interaction (P>0.05) between feed treatments and types of birth at all variables that were observed. The birth weight, weaning weight, and average body gains of single birth type was higher than the twins birth (P<0.05) but the feed treatments not affect (P>0.05) on all variables.en
