Abstract: Density is degree of darkness of radiographic image. The aim of this study were tomeasure thedensityandthe rate ofspeed ofiodixanolincaturinary tract. Four female cats with 2.4-3.5 kg average weight and aged of 1 year. Cats were anasthetized using xylazin-ketamine combination. Radiographs were taken at 0, 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 9, and 20 minutes with ventrodorsal position. Contrast media (Iodixanol) with dose 800 mg/kg BB was injection with rapid injection, high dose, and without abdominal pressure method into cephalica antibrachii dorsalis vein. The data was analyzed by visual interpretation and used densitometer. Cats had optimum opacity at 5 minute both right and left kidney by visual interpretation and using densitometer. The speed of iodixanol with densitometer for right kidney was 4x10-2/s and left kidney was 7x10-2/s. Vesica urinary had optimum opacity at 20 minute by visual interpretation and using densitometer, with the speed of iodixanol was 3x10-2/s.
