The results showed that Aedes aegypti was more active indoor the house (0.24 mosquito/person/hour) than outdoor (0.16 mosquito/person/hour) with the biting activity occurred at 10.00−11.00 (0.42 mosquito/person/hour) and at 16.00−17.00 (0.21 mosquito/person/hour). While Ae. albopictus was more active outdoor the house (0.18 mosquito/person/hour) than indoor (0.05 mosquito/person/hour) with the biting activity occurred at 10.00−11.00 (0.42 mosquito/person/hour) and at 14.00−15.00 (0.17 mosquito/person/hour). Ae. aegypti was found resting more indoor the house (0.03 mosquito/house) than outdoor (0.02 mosquito/house), while Ae. albopictus was found resting more outdoor the house (0.01 mosquito/house) than indoor (0.00 mosquito/home). The result of Pearson’s correlation analysis showed that the relationship between the rainfall index with the density of Ae. aegypti (r=0.94, P>0.05), and Ae. albopictus (r=0:49, P>0.05). |
