dc.description.abstract | Timor deer is one of deer species which potential to be developed. Captivity is one of timor deer utilization which aim to maintain the population of timor deer as protected species. However, there are various issues related to its reproduction so that reproductive technology is required to improve female timor deer reproduction by stimulating sexual desire of female timor deer using natural materials that are aphrodisiac, one of them is tabat barito. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of giving tabat barito with various doses against daily activity and sexual behavior of female timor deer. There are 4 tabat barito doses which are given for 28 days. The doses are 0 mg, 4000 mg, 5000 mg and 6000 mg. The result of this research indicates that different dose which given not significantly influence the daily activity and sexual behavior. However, the 6000 mg dose can stimulate female deer estrus so copulation happened. | en |
