Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Budidaya Ikan Cupang (Betta splendens) pada Usaha Bapak A. Arifin di Jakarta Pusat

Abstract

Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) is commodities seed in Central Jakarta has an important role in the national economy. One of the most recognized fish farmers around the region is Mr. A. Arifin. The opportunity to meet the demands of Siamese fighting fish resellers has created a motivation to expand the business scale. The main purposes of this research are to analyze the feasibility of Mr. A. Arifin’s siamese fighting fish aquaculture business expansion through financial and nonfinancial aspects. The data processing was done by using both qualitative and quantitative method. Based on the analysis of financial and nonfinancial aspects, it can be concluded that the implementation of siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) Mr. A. Arifin’s business expansion is feasible. The result of an analysis nonfinancial aspects seen from market aspects, the technical aspects, management aspects, legal aspects, social aspects, and enviromental aspects. The result of an analysis financial aspects seen from investment assessment criteria namely NPV, Net B/C, IRR, and PP. This business obtain NPV Rp 1 507 208 771.00, Net B/C 8. 684, IRR 88 percent, and long return on investment 2 years 4 months 3 days.
