Pengelolaan Risiko Produksi Buncis Mini pada PD Pacet Segar, Kabupaten Cianjur

Abstract

One of the important commodities of the horticulture sub-sector and has the opportunity to be developed includes vegetables. Mini bean, one type of vegetables, tends to increase its total production annually. Mini bean cultivation cannot be separated from production risks. PD Pacet Segar is one of the companies cultivating mini bean in Cianjur. This study is aiming at identifying risk sources of mini bean production, analyzing the possibility of risk occurrence and impact of risk source of mini bean production towards its revenue, as well as analyzing appropriate alternative strategies to address the mini bean production risks. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and risk analysis. This study used primary data and secondary data, all of data is qualitative and quantitative data. Based on the field observations, the sources of risks in mini bean production included weather changes, seed quality, diseases, and pest attacks. Weather changes are a source of risk that may occur and have the greatest impact. The results of the risk mapping results indicated that there were two kinds of treatment strategies including preventive and mitigation strategies
