Analisis Kinerja Keuangan PT Alam Karya Unggul Tbk Periode 2008-2012

Abstract

PT. Alam Karya Tbk is one of sub-sectors of plastics and packaging company in manufacturing industrial sector. There are several problems in the development of the company's financial performance such as decreasing on (a) the value of sales; (b) number of assets; (c) number of equity and also fluctuative net loss during the period 2008-2012. Based on these problems, it was necessary to analyze the financial performance of the company to know its condition. The purpose of the research was (1) studied and analyzed the financial statements of the company in the last five years (2008-2012) by using ratio analysis, and Du Pont analysis; (2) analyzed the trend of financial condition during 2004-2012’s period and predicted the financial condition for 2013-2014’s period. The result of this research showed that the ratio of liquidity, activity and profitability in this company was not in a good condition. Trend of balance sheet and income statement on this company during 2004-2012 was decrease.
