dc.description.abstractPekarangan is considered as areas attached to the house that can be utilized as agriculfiiral land which able to support food sectrity ond nutrition requirement of the househotd family. Since 201A, the Government has been implementing the National Program of Acceleration of Food Consumption Diversification (P2W Progran) through optimization of the pekarangan land by empowering community, especially those who involve in Farmer women Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani - KWD. The aim of this study was to observe the pekarangan characteristics and its utilization by the KWT, and to evaluate the implementation of P2KP Program in Bogor District. The subjects were KW Mawar in Cikarawang-Dramaga, KW Teratai in Silu Udik-Ciampea, and KW Rulatn Tani in Bantarsari-Semplak. Each KW has 10-12 members. In general the pekarangan size is classified as small size, less than 100 m(2).en
