Manajemen Pemupukan Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di PT. Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa I, First Resources Ltd., Rokan Hulu, Riau

Abstract

Apprenticeship aims to increase knowledge, about the cultivation of oil palm. To obtain the work experience and skills on oil palm cultivation. Internship was conducted at Afdeling III PT. Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa I, Sei Air Hitam Estate, First Resources Ltd., Riau Province in February-June 2013. Internship activities are enducated though management, mount level experiences of lower class labour, supervisor (foremen) and field assistant. Management of fertilization was analyzed base on four raights concept : right kind, right dosage, right time, right place dan method of application. Secondary data were collected in the form of literature and field devision archives such as monthly, annuals reports, as well as documentation of the field. Generally fertilization in Sei Air Hitam Estate was not fully the of concept four rights. Workforce swith good quality are needed to be improved.
