| Abstract: | This study aimed to assess food and nutrients intake, NDQ, DDP score, and the correlation between DDP score and NDQ of children aged 2-6 years. This study was carried out through analyzing a consumption data set of basic health research (Riskesdas) 2010 were collected using 24-hr recall method. Total number of children aged 2-6 years of these data was 24447 from 33 provinces of Indonesian. After applying inclusive and exclusice criterias the final subjects for this study were 16709 children. The results showed that children were most likely eat cereals (99.4%) and least likely eat oily seeds (1.6%). Children aged 2-6 years had deficiency of macronutrient energy, fats,and water. They also had deficiency of micronutrient calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B9 and vitamin C. The mean DDP score of the children aged 2-6 years was 67.1±10 (67.0±10.1 for boys and 67.3±10.1 for girls). The mean NDQ of the children aged 2-6 years was 62.4 ± 17.1 (62.6 ± 17.2 for boys and 62.2 ± 17.1 for girls). Correlation between DDP score and each of NDQ was found 0.578-0.621 that showed moderate validity result. |
