Abstract: The aim of this case study is to explore the relationship among Conformation scoring profile for weight, Body Condition Score (BCS) and milk production in dairy cattle. One hundred of dairy cattle mainly in Lembang were used for this case study. The assessment of Conformation scoring profile was especially based on five enterior value of the dairy cattle body such as height, body depth, angularity, rump angle and rump width. This assessment was then categorized in to three scales such as poor scale (scale 1-3), medium scale (4-6) and best scale (7-9). Furthermore, the data of weight, BCS, and the amount of milk production per day were measured after lactation period. These data were further analyzed descriptively and correlated to five enterior value of the dairy cattle body, weight, BCS and milk production. Our results showed that the Conformation scoring most numerous in the medium category (4-6). Significant correlation (P<0.01) between Conformation scoring and weight was definitely found on height (r=0.386), body depth (r=0.582), and rump width (r=0.431), whereas for the correlation of Conformation scoring and BCS was absolutely found on height (r=-0.321). The relationship between BCS and the best production of dairy milk was found on BCS with a score of 3.75, which meant that the amount of milk production was approximately 22 liters per day on the seventh lactation period. This case study showed that the Conformation scoring has a significant relationship between an ideal condition of dairy cattle body and a good level of milk production.
