Kajian Strategi Politik Pencitraan pada Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara

Abstract

The election of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the 2004 Presidential Election and Joko Widodo in Jakarta Local Election, supported by the non-ruling party, proving that people prefer a figure of candidate than the party supporters. Candidates should know in which segment he had the support and what image of the personality is attached to him. CHAID analysis produces 5 segments and divided by employment, ethnicity, and income variable. Candidate D as the incumbent also has the greatest support. Candidate D is assessed having the personality 'attention to people' and largely elected by voters who worked as a farmer and others. Each candidate have to maintain the support of the main voters and win the support of the other candidates voters.
