dc.description.abstract | Abalone currently has a great demand due to its high nutritional content. One of the problem in abalone cultivation is that when an abalone is wounded, its mortality rate may increase. This study is intended to build a system that can detect the presence of a wound on abalone foot with digital imagery approach using histogram and morphology methods. These methods are used to retrieve an object on abalone foot automatically and cover the pattern of a wound on abalone foot. The results show that this method is capable to detect the presence of a wound on abalone foot with a success rate of 69.90%. | en |
