Perilaku Seksual Monyet Ekor Panjang (Macaca fascicularis) di Telaga Warna Bogor.

Abstract

Long tailed macaques Macaca fascicularis lives in the multi-male multifemale group. The macaques did social interactions such as groomning, playing, sex and agretion. Sexual behavior is interaction between adult male with adult female. This research aim to know about sexual behaviour of long tailed macaques in Natural Recreation Park Telaga Warna, Bogor. The observation is done with ad libitum and scan sampling method. Sexual behaviour mostly occured in the morning between 07.00 until 11.00 am. Inspection was the most frequence sexual behaviour. Social hierarchy was not related with the frequency of sexual behaviour, except for courtship.
