dc.description.abstractWaste of palm oil processing such as empty bunch and palm oil mill effluent in Sei Batang Ulak Plantation, PT Ciliandra Perkasa, First Resources Ltd. Riau used as organic fertilizer. The purpose of an internship in general was to increase knowledge about the cultivation of oil palm and to learned about oil palm waste management industry process to be more beneficial and give a good impact on the environment in specifically. Internship was conducted for 4 months. The retrieved data were the primary and secondary data. Waste application could provide the nutrient required palm oil so reducing inorganic fertilizer and increase productivity. Productivity increase with increasing of application empty bunch area. Application of waste affects the quality of ground water and surface water around the application so that the water is not suitable for consumption. Sludge liquid waste can be used as growing media of kangkong. Growing media with 100% sludge liquid waste gives the best effect on plant height, number of leaves and biomass weight of plant kangkong.en
