Produksi Biomassa Kelapa Sawit di Kebun Sei Air Hitam, First Resources Rokan Hulu, Riau

Abstract

Internship was conducted in order to improve skill and professionalism in oil palm production, and to study biomass production by the oil palm plantationexcludingfresh bunch weight. Internship was conducted at Sei Air Hitam Estate, PT Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa 1, Rokan Hulu, Riau Province in Sumatera for four months from February to June 2013. Destructive sampling were carried out for data of leaf, stem and root. Data were analized by using descriptive analysis. Total biomass for sample 1 was382.32 kg dry weight or1 317.34 kg fresh weight. Sample number 2 had biomass659.44 kg dry weight or2 083.05 kg of fresh weight. On average from one ha of oil palm plantationproduced76.75tons dry weight or245.81 tons of fresh weight of biomass.
