Implementasi Sistem Informasi Tanaman Hias Lanskap dengan Teknologi Cloud Computing

Abstract

Landscaped land cultivation is relevant anywhere in our neighborhoods. The landscaped feature in this research is aimed to create magnificent and fashion landscape architecture of flowers and ornamental plants as well as an effort to conserve the environment. However, great number of diversity and unique characteristics of flowers and ornamental plants requires proper fitting of the selected flowers and ornamentals plants within the landscape. The information system (IS) establishment of digitalized flowers and ornamental plants is one solution to cope with this constriction. The IS developed is targeted to help out and as a tool for general end users and specific end users such as landscape architect. The established IS is further called “Sistem Informasi Tanaman Hias Lanskap” (De’Flava) and is a web-based IS. De’Flava employs cloud computing technology i.e. the platform as a service (PaaS) type. The uses of PaaS type is to support the IS application development in an attractive manner for the end users in term of its service allowed. The development method follows planning, analysis, design, implementation, and support phases. The result is De’Flava IS that can be accessed at end users pace of time and locations.
