Abstract: Utilization of large flaying fox from nature and the damage of natural habitats of large flaying fox makes population diminish. Therefore large flaying fox need to be captivein order to keep large flaying fox populations in natural habitats remain sustainable. The purpose of this research is to study the technical aspects of captive management and identified daily activity of large flaying fox in the enclosure. The method used for captive management is field observation, interviews, and literature, while for daily activities using scan animal sampling method against two groups of large flaying fox by sex (male and female). There are 13large flaying fox in TMR (7 males and 6 females). Bat enclosures have a size of 12 m x 4 m x 4 m. Large flaying foxin TMR are given feed papaya, banana, and guava. Results of the implementation of animal welfare outcomes calculation of 2.51 and included in good categories. Daily activity of large flaying fox were identified are, grooming itself, perch, resting/sleeping, eating, communicate, and moving. Based on the results of chi-squared test, daily activities of large flaying fox male and female are generally the same.
