This experiment was conducted to study the anthelmintic activity of J eureas leaf extract (leE) compared to Albendazole (Abz) againts tape WOm1 and Ascaridia galli live in intestine of Kampung chickens. The number of 10 A. galli and 5 tape WOm1S were incubated in different concentration of J eureas extract and Albendazole. This experiment consisted of 11 treatments: control (0% JCE and 0% Abz), 2% leE, 4% leE, 6% leE, 8% leE, 10% leE, 2% Abz, 4% Abz, 6% Abz, 8% Abz and 10% Abz. The experiment was conducted in three replications. The parameters observed were mortality of tape wonn and A. galli. The phytochemical substances and concentration of tannin and saponin were analyzed to identify the active substance of J eureas extract. A Completely Randomized Design was used in this experiment The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOY A), while differences between treatments were analyzed using Duncan Multiple Range test The results indicated that the extract of 1. clircas leaves had anthelmintic activity against tape worms and A. galli. The highest phytochemical substances of J. curcas leaf extract were saponin and tannin. Ten percent concentration of extract J eurcas leaf had similar anthelmintic activity with 6% Albendazole on A. galli. While lCE had lower activity to kill the tape worm compared to Albendazole.
