| Abstract: | Sheep breeding need to be developed to support the national livestock industry. Development business in the direction of sheep breeding is mostly done in rural. One of the livestock which develop business of sheep breeding is Plasma MT Farm with semi-intensive systems. The business of sheep breeding with semi-intensive system has not many to be evaluated.This research aims to evaluated management and productivity, as well financial feasibility of sheep breeding semi-intensive systems. The data were collected in February to March 2013 in sheep breeding Plasma MT Farm Cigudeg village, Cigudeg subdistrict, Bogor regency, West Java. Data analysis included descriptive analysis and financial analysis. The result analysis showed that management and productivity sheep breeding in Plasma MT Farm was good. The results of the financial analysis on the interest rate of 6% per with the period 15 years of business showed that breeding sheep in Plasma MT Farm was feasible by financially with Net Present Value was Rp 45 243 215, Gross Benefit Cost Ratio was 1.16, Internal Rate of Return was 10%, PP was 13 years and 9 months. The results of the switching value analysis showed this business will result in NPV = 0 when the mortality rate rose to 62.83% and decline in the selling price of sheep to 75.49%. In conclusion, sheep breeding in Plasma MT Farm good to be done and continued. |
