Abstract

Arung Gelombang or sea rafting is one of coastal tourism that unique, challenging and found in Citepus Beach. Different with rafting conducted in rivers,Arung Gelombang done at sea by wading waves shore. Arung Gelombang still new in Indonesia and there only view one of them in Citepus Beach. Result, show the main indicators for the suitability of Arung Gelombang tourisms are currents, waves, wind, beach structure and dangerous biota. Based on the Index Calculation Arung Gelombang in Citepus has 60% value. This is categorize S2, suitable. Based on coastal landmass 3,8 ha, so carrying capacity in Arung Gelombang is 20 people per day. Factor potential danger in Arung Gelombang are wave, current, wind, dangerous biota and equipment of Arung Gelombang.
