dc.description.abstractLeader is an influential person in a company and in leading an organization, leader have different styles. Career development is one of the employee’s efforts dan plans to achieve future career goals. Career development should be supported by the leader and company in order to create optimal employee performance, so that company goals can be achieved. The purpose of this study were: (1) Analyze employee perceptions regarding leadership styles in PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Jagorawi Branch Office;(2) analyze the employees' perception of career development at PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Branch Jagorawi; (3) Analyze employee perceptions of the employee performance in PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Jagorawi Branch Office;and (4) Analyze the influence of leadership styles and career development on employee performance in PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk JagorawiBranch Office.Type of data used in the study is primary data obtained from open interview and questionnaires, meanwhile the secondary data obtained from books, thesis, information from internet and data-data sourced from PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk JagorawiBranch Office.The analysis tools are descriptive analysis andPartial Least Square (PLS) with the help of software SmartPLS.The samples in this study were employees ofPT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk JagorawiBranch Office, by using the technique of probability and nonprobability sampling, namely with the method of proportionate stratified cluster sampling convenience. PLS analysis results stating that leadership styles have a negative impact on employee performance, while career development have a positive influence on employee performance. Model of the influence of leadership styles and career development to give the performance of R-square value of 0.4589.It is interpreted that the construct of performance can be explained by the construct of leadership styles and career development by 45.90% or 54.10% while the rest is explained by variables outside research.en
