dc.description.abstractMicro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have important role to absorb unemployment. However, most ofMSMEs have low access to formal financial institution. Semiformal financial institutions such as Baitul mal wat Tamwil (BMT) can support the needs of MSMEs capital. This study analyzed access MSMEs to conventional and Islamic financial institution and factors that influence credit rationing from financial institution. This research used logistic regression model to determine factors influencing MSMEs acces to BMT and their probability of being credit rationed by the institution. Access to Islamic financial institutions (BMT) are influenced by education and type of business (manufacturing and services).
