Analisis Daya Saing dan Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Industri Pariwisata Daerah Kota Malang

Abstract

Tourism is one of the strategic sectors in the national economy system that contributed greatly to the country’s foreign exchange. This study is aim to asses the analyses of competitiveness and the factors that affect the tourism industry to the economy in Malang City. This study were used quanttitive analyses. Analyses the competitiveness of the tourism industry is Competitiveness Monitor (CM) with the comparison is Blitar City, While the factors that affect the tourism industry were used Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The Competitiveness Monitor show that the influence of tourism indikators, human resources indikators, openness indikators, and social indikator in Malang City are higher than Blitar City. Based on the Ordinary Least Square show that the number of hotel and good quality of street as a real and significant impact on the tourism industry.
