Analisis Dampak Pembangunan Sektor Pertanian Terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Aceh

Abstract

Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is the main source of the economy by the agricultural sector which is visible from the contribution to Gross Regional Domestic Product and labor absorption. In the last 5 years the agricultural sector Gross Regional Domestic Product continues to increase but the level of poverty in the province of Aceh are still relatively high and fluctuating economic growth as well as lower than the growth of the national economy. Therefore, the study aims to analyze the factors that influence the development of the agricultural sector and its impact on poverty and economic growth in the province of Aceh. This study uses secondary data with time series data type from 1993-2012 then processed and analyzed by using a simultaneous equation econometric models. The results showed that there is a relationship between agricultural output, poverty, and economic growth so that the increasing of government spending on the agricultural sector would reduce poverty and promote economic growth in the Province of Aceh
