Kelayakan Usaha Peternakan Sapi Perah dalam Menunjang Swasembada Susu di Indonesia

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the feasibility of a dairy farm and business decisions. The method used is descriptive analysis covering market aspects, technical aspects, management aspects, social, economic and environmental as well as financial aspects of the analysis of the dairy business include the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C Ratio), Payback Period and Sensitivity Analysis / Switching Value. . The study was conducted between June and November 2012 on a dairy farm Mammalia Desa Citapen, Kecamatan Ciawi, Kabupaten Bogor, site selection studies conducted purposively. The results of the analysis of financial and non-financial aspects show that dairy farm business run by farmers is feasible. Based on the switching value, the reduction in milk production is more sensitive compare to an increase in feed prices.
