The use of rice husk and palm shells as alternative energy has a very high potential in Indonesia. This research was conducted under variations of the diameter of the plate of the cone, there is 6, 9, and 12 cm were installed at the rice husk stove IPB using rice husk fuel and oil palm shell, then applied three times for each to boil 1 liter of water. Efficiency using rice husk fuel with an inner diameter of 6 cm below the plate of the cone is 7.91%, diameter of the plate of the cone which 9 cm is 7.25%, diameter of the plate of the cone which 12 cm is 6.52%. While using fuel oil palm shell with the plate of the cone diameter 6 cm is 5.46%, the plate of the cone diameter 9 cm is 5.25%, and the plate of the cone diameter 12 cm is 4.24%. The result for processing of the heat distribution at the center of the pan using a Gauss‐Seidel iteration method. Heat distribution on the bottom of the pan with temperature from rice husk combustion has lower temperature than the oil palm shell. The more number of elements domain points the more accurate of the calor spread results.en
