Perubahan Sosial Masyarakat Desa Bangunjaya Sejak Tahun 1980-an

Abstract

The result showed that modernization that began with the construction which going on in 1985 in the village of Bangunjaya an impact on people's lives. The effect is the change in aspects of community life in the village Bangunjaya the structural aspects and the cultural community and the public welfare. Changes in aspects of structural and cultural changes in the society is the system of government, the increasing diversity of livelihoods, changes in social stratification, the new social groups, as well as a shift in values and norms that exist in society. In addition, changes in the level of welfare is the difference in the condition of education, health, and income in 1980’s and the time the study was conducted according to public perception. Public attitudes towards social change mostly positive value. Public attitudes towards social change has a positive relationship with respondent characteristics including education level and income level. A negative relationship was indicated from public attitudes toward social change with respondent characteristics including age, gender, and social status.
