Analisis Persepsi Nilai Anak dan Perilaku Investasi Waktu pada Anak (Kasus di Desa Situ Udik, Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor)

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to describe the value of children and time investment of parents in the village area and to analyze the effect of family characteristic and value of children toward time investment of parents to children at Situ Udik Village, Cibungbulang Sub District, District of Bogor. This research involved 60 families respondent which have child under five years old that split into two social economic status: poor (30 families) and not poor (30 families), base on BKKBN’s family welfare phasing.The sample were interviewed by using structure questionnaire. The result of this research showed that there are no significant different on the perception of children value between poor and not poor family, as well as time investment of parents to children. Regression analyzis showed that time investment of parents to children influenced by mother’s education and value of children.
