dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to determine the effect of paclobutrazol on Dendrobium spectabile planlet in acclimatization phase. This research used a complete randomized block design, with paclobutrazol concentration as treatment. There were eight level of paclobutrazol concentrations used 0 ppm, 10 ppm with twice and four times spraying, 20 ppm with twice and four times spraying, 30 ppm with twice and four times spraying, and 20 ppm pre soaked treatment. Each treatment repeated four times, so it consist of 32 units experiment. The result from this research are showed significant effect of paclobutrazol concentration application on planlet survived percent, length of the leaf, number of root, number of palisade cell, plant height, and thickness of leaf. The best response was shown by application of sprayed 30 ppm paclobutrazol four times. That showed 100% percentage of plantlets grown, the highest number of roots, the largest palisade cell, and the highest leaf thickness.en
