The objective of this research was to study the effect of fungicide addition in the washing materials and the washing time were effective to prevent body rots and anthracnose on mango fruits. The experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor was the washing materials consists of five treatments, there were : P0 = no treatment, P1 = water, P2 = detergent 1% + Ca(OH)2 0.5%, P3 = detergent 1% + Ca(OH)2 0.5% + fungicide benomyl 0.025%, and P4 = fungicide benomyl 0.025%. The second factor was the washing time consist of two treatments, there were : T1 = 0 hour after harvest and T2 = 6 hours after harvest. The result of experiment showed that the washing materials of detergent 1% + Ca(OH)2 0.5% + fungicide benomyl 0.025 % was effective to delaying body rots for 4 days after harvest and anthracnose for 8 days after harvest on mango fruits. The washing time at 0 hour after harvest and 6 hours after harvest were effective to removing sap and dirty, prevent of sapburn, lenticel spottings, dendritic spottings, stem end rots, stem rots, anthracnose, delaying fruit softness and development colour on mango fruits.en
