dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to evaluate the resistance of 17 IPB chili breeding lines and three commercial varieties to anthracnose diseases caused by Colletotrichum sp. and get their yield components information. This research was conducted from February until May 2012 at IPB Research Station Leuwikopo and Genetic and Plant Breeding Laboratory, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture IPB. This research used Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The result of the resistance evaluation to anthracnose using isolate TGMII04 (C. gloeosporioides) showed that eleven genotypes categorized as highly resistant and all other genotypes categorized as resistant. Meanwhile, the evaluation using isolate PYK04 (C. acutatum) showed that all genotypes categorized as highly susceptible.
