Evaluasi Pengelolaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Terminal Tawang Alun Jember

Abstract

Public transportation is an important infrastructure part of the city’s traffic system. Bus station is a part of the public transportation services. The objective of this research is to arrange the management plan of gren open space based on evaluation to the existing management in Tawang Alun Bus Station.This research used site survey approach that consist of observation, directly measurement, interviews, and questionaire to the respondents. The data obtained are then analyzed by SWOT that is analyze method to arrange the management strategy. Based on the result of this research, it was found that 1) management organization already existed but does not yet have a division that is specially responsible for the green open space maintenance, 2) the schedule is only done to some maintenance activities, furthermore working methods that do not fit the standard, 3) there ara 18 labour, but TTAJ only need 6 labour to maintain the green open space, 4) the amount of equipment and materials which is used still limited, and 5) the available budget for maintenance is Rp 20.200.000, but the required budget is Rp 41.960.423.
