Abstract: A serious problems often faced by developing countries such as Indonesia is deficiency vitamin A. The number of Indonesia’s blindness in 2008 is about 1.5% of the population. The efforts of Indonesia’s Government are through its cooking oil fortification vitamin. The weakness of the fortvication program is a vitamin used is still imported from abroad. One of alternatives that could be developed is by doing the development of palm oil as a source of carotene in the form of red palm oil. One of the plantations in Indonesia, which has palm oil plants with high levels of carotene is PTPN XIV XIII of West Kalimantan. Carotene content of the varieties range from 2000 to 4000 ppm. The purpose of this study is to analyze techno-economic aspect of high carotene red palm oil industry. Scope of research includes techno-economic on the market and marketing aspect, technical and technological, management and organization, environmental, legal, valuation and commercialization, as well as financial aspects. This Red Palm Oil Industry is planned to be located in Sanggau, West Kalimantan. The Industrial capacity is 5tons/hour. After a depth assessment of all aspects, it can be concluded that the industry of Red Palm Oil is feasible to be realized
