dc.description.abstractThe productivity of a lecturer in university can be seen from the number of scientific papers or articles produced by a lecturer. The objective of the study was to analyze the productivity of tenured lecturers using Lotka Law and know the factors that affect their productivity in writing articles in Jurnal Kedokteran YARSI of Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University. The research used quantitative research methods. The result showed that (1). the productivity of tenured lecturers are n = 2.4088 and the value of c = 0.6372, with a maximum deviation of 0.0628 and a critical value (at α = 0.05) = 0.2206. (2). The factor that affect the descent productivity of tenured lecturers in producing article is Jurnal Kedokteran YARSI not yet accredited and it caused the tenured lecturers post their articles to other journals. These finding indicated that there is no significant difference between the theoritical Lotka's Law with the observation or it can be said that the pattern lecturers productivity is in accordance with the Lotka's law.en
