Abstract: This internship activity took place in Bangun Bandar Estate, Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra from February 2012 to May 2012. The objective of this internship was to learn the techniques of palm oil cultivation especially the harvesting system at Bangun Bandar Estate. The collected data were primary data and secondary data. Palm oil cultivation in this plantation has been running well. The main problem in the plantation is the harvest rotation be come longer from 7 days until 9 days. This occurs as a result of employee absences, holidays and days of rain in general, the fruits quality in BBE plantation is good with an average fruit maturity reaching 99.7 % and the harvest area quality 1.31 %. Based on statistical analysis, harvesting capacity of fruit cutting employer is between 269.5 ± 59.78 fruits/employee.
