dc.description.abstractNutrition services for inpatient is daily activities that support other health units in hospital in providing patient with appropriate meal. The aim of the present study was to describe the process of food services in “X” hospital. Specifically. the present study aim to analyze food waste, nutrition and cost are missing from food waste, and inpatient satisfaction in food served at the Private Hospital "X" in Gresik. The study design used was a cross sectional study with a sample size of 30 patients hospitalized. The average energy, protein, fats, and carbohydrates wasted per day per person was 132 kcal, 7.2 grams, 2.8 grams, and 20.8 grams. The average loss of cost from food waste was Rp 2893.25 per day per person. When compared with the total food cost, the average loss was 11.57% per day per personen
