Abstract: Javan langur is protected spesies of primates that highly threatened. Habitat degradation as a major threat causes a lot of javan langur populations living in isolated habitat fragments. The study aims to assess the daily activities of javan langur in isolated habitat fragments in the TWA Gunung Pancar as a form of adaptation to an isolated habitat fragments. The research was conducted in May-June 2012 by using focal animal sampling method. Vegetation analysis was performed by point-centered quarter method for 40 sampling plot determined by encounter point of javan langur. The results showed that there were three major land cover types used by the Javan langur which are forest, transitional forest-plantation and plantation. The dominant activity found in transitional forest-plantation (48.19%). The proportion of aech activity is resting (33.65%), eating (30.68%), moving (27.08%) and social activities (8.60%). Based on chi square test known that the encounter of frequency showed a different distribution pattern in each environment variable, except in the category of time activity, while the frequency of each activity showed the same distribution pattern in each environment variable. The duration activity of adult female showed a different pattern of distribution in the time activities variabel, the distance from the cultivation, the distance from the road and land cover variabel, while the duration of activity of adult male only corelated with time activity variable. CCA analysis showed the variation trend of the daily activities related to environmental factors. PCA analysis showed a trend of association between some of the dominant vegetation with daily activities for a total eigenvalue of 3.46 and a total variation described in component 1, component 2 and component 3 is 86.43%, 7.90% and 4.20%.
