Abstract: The research objective is to study relationship of food consumption and iron status with academic score of girl students in Pelita Senior High School Ciampea. This cross sectional study design research was conducted at Ciampea Bogor. The number of samples were 74 schoolgirl. This research using recall method of food consumption, iron bioavailability calculated with Du et al (1999) method, the iron status of Hb concentration and academic score are showed in the rapot. The results show nutritional status (BMI/Age) majority of the student (82.4%) are in the normal category with the mean of 20.5±3.2. Most of the students (89.1%) were in normal iron status and 10.8% anemia. Majority of students (83.2%) had low food consumption compared to Indonesian Dietary Guidelines (PUGS 2005) recommendation, and level of adequacy of energy is on severe deficit category (86.5%). Percent of iron bioavailability is in a moderate category (10.04%) with a total of bioavailability 1.09 g. Consumption of food enhancer is still lacking, with consumption of vitamin C 25.01±26.2 mg and fruitsvegetables 116.7±137 g. Academic score based on report book are in good category, both of general academic score (87.8%) with an average of 81.9±2.3 and vocational academic score (78.3%) with an average of 82.7±2.6. Pearson’s correlation shown there’s no relationship between food consumption and iron status with academic score (p>0.05).
