Artemia live as planktonic in marine water with salinity range from 15 to 300‰. Different from others, Artemia as plankton have tolerance characteristic which very wide about salinity range (euryhaline). Salinity condition influence life of Artemia, like hatching degree, growth, and development. This research aimed to observe population growth of Artemia salina under different salinity degree. The salinity which use in this research is 20, 30, and 40‰. Research were conducted in the laboratory of two phase, they are minor (March-June 2009) and main phase (July-August 2009). The conducted in order to know hatching degree under different salinity. The main phase conducted to know the growth rate and development of A. salina in the different salinity. Total length and wide body, and reach instar of A. salina were measured. Sample were taken random in time observation during 10 days. General model which use is plan test model with repeated measurement “in time”. Then analyze with F test (ANOVA) and continue with Duncan test. This analysis in the interval of believe 95% (α=0,05). According to observation in the research hatching degree from highest until lowest happen in the salinity 20, 30, and 40‰ respectively, whereas growth and development from fastest until lowest happen in the salinity 40, 20, and 30‰ respectively. Statistical analysis random complete design with repeated measurement “in time” of growth from total length and wide body showed that whole model result ANOVA with F test in the interval of believe 5% suitable to use. Partial test showed that treatment (salinity) has influence real different (P<0,05) about growth of total length and wide body A. salina. Result of Duncan test about treatment (salinity) showed that salinity treatment 20 and 30‰ not significantly different, whereas influence of salinity treatment 40‰ is significantly different from salinity 20 and 30%. In addition to, result of Duncan test for time(days) showed five group of time that have influence total length growth of A. salina and showed three group of time that have influence wide body growth of A. salina.en
